WEEKEND MOMENTS

It was nice to spend a weekend home after weeks of out of town trips.

Friday night we picked up ingredients and I improvised a baked pasta dish with roasted tomatoes/jalapeños/garlic blended with some sautéed onion in a cream cheese sauce. And then the whole thing baked with grated havarti and gouda on top. Still thinking about that pasta sauce… Mmmmm

Saturday night I got together with a bunch of crazy ladies to celebrate a good friend’s bachelorette. I dragged my tired feet home around 2 am – while they continued the party and apparently never even went to bed. They are younger than me, that’s my excuse.

Sunday I cured a slight hangover with some coffee and an hour and a half yoga class at 11am. (Yoga>up all night drinking) Matt met me after class and we went to brunch at Holder in old Montréal. I continued killing my hangover with kindness by ordering the yogourt and homemade muesli with a fruit salad, orange juice and tea.

5 more days and it’s the weekend again. I can’t wait.

    • Thank you, I love it too!
The first pic is from this “beach” in the old port, you can’t swim but you can pay and sit on the beach in your bikini…?
Fun to photograph though from the top of the clocktower.
