Last week I was able to escape the cold and spend a week on a caribbean cruise with some of my family. As it was my first time going anywhere south of Florida, I was blown away by how beautiful the islands really were. They far exceeded my expectations and the sun was such a welcome treat in the middle of January.
One of the activities we had booked was a sea turtle and shipwreck snorkelling afternoon in Barbados. And obviously I fell in love.
After the snorkelling activity we were dropped off at a nearby beach where we were of course given some rum punch to enjoy (with refills). Standing in turquoise water with a drink in hand on a hot (but not too hot) day is really something that’s hard to beat.
