Last weekend, here in Montreal, was the Mural Festival. Local street artist were given the opportunity to show off their talents without the risk of getting arrested. They closed off a long stretch of one of our busiest boulevards and we could all watch the murals being created and shop from the street’s merchants on a sidewalk sale.
With all the rain and cold weather we’ve been having, Montrealers jumped at the chance to be outside in the sun. The street was packed with hipsters.
I like to think it was a nice preview to an eventful and fun summer to come.
