How good does all of this stuff look? With the days getting shorter and the temperature dropping, I am back to thinking about turning my oven on and cooking again. Summer was filled with quick and easy meals, restaurants and takeout. But then I made some killer (vegan) donuts this week. And then I made some homemade sushi last night. Which led me think to myself Simba, it is time. My days are pretty busy but with the colder weather coming, I am looking forward to evenings spent in with a cozy sweater and a cup of tea, baking scones, cooking chilis and stews, testing out new recipes and perfecting my little mental repertoire of favorite recipes.

I’m a freak for all things fig (unless there is meat in it of course) and since they are in season right now, here’s a little fig for thought!
(Pasta! Why didn’t I think of that?)
