Not bad, not bad. I spent my real birthday in San Francisco, walking over the golden gate bridge, eating dinner in an amazing veggie restaurant that’s been around since the 70s. (Photos of THAT still to come in my SF posts)
And when I got back home to Montreal, my sisters threw me a ‘surprise’ party. We had delivery from Aux Vivres, tons of liquorice, bourbon lemonade and a couple bottles of champagne. It was really great to be able to celebrate with both my sisters (one lives in Australia) and my cousin from Vancouver. Just like the old days – with more booze and crude conversation than when we were 10.
And after this post almost 2 years ago, I did in fact get my rainbow unicorn. And he’s amazing.
Big thanks to everyone for helping make it a special night! I couldn’t ask for anything more. Except maybe some chocolate. Jeez guys, don’t you know me at all??

Love your b’day pics here Em!! That tree must be huge if you are on Matt’s condo roof ;)))
The two of the guys are really good – reminds me of NY or California, especially the silhouette one of them-so cool.
