WEEKEND MOMENTS

20131104-124656.jpgHappy monday! I don’t know about you guys but I had a great weekend. Friday night we went to see the rocky horror picture show – which was amazing but ended so late that us old fogies were falling asleep in our chairs as people were throwing around toilet paper and spraying everyobe with water guns. Staying up till 3am just isn’t as easy as it used to be!

Saturday was rainy so we did some shopping at my favorite warehouse filled to the brim with old furniture, clothes and everything else (not to mention dust). I came home with a 1950s turquoise bathroom scale and a vintage red flour sifter for 5$. We went for lunch at SoupeSoup, a good way to warm up after an afternoon walking around in the cold rain. On Sunday I brought a friend to Sain Bol for brunch. I am always hesitant to bring new people to this tiny little gem because the menu is so small. They don’t have your regular breakfast chain restaurant food like chocolate pancakes or bacon and eggs. But she loved it – And I am so happy she did, the food is delicious, organic and so fresh. I would have to unfriend anyone who didn’t love it!

  • i know what you mean about staying up until three! my husband and i used to pull all-nights all the time, and now as i’m inching closer to thirty i don’t know how i used to do it.

a few months back we saw one of my favorite bands, the polyphonic spree. they were performing two sets, and the first was all the songs from rock horror. by the end of the second set they had been playing for close to four hours. i was ready to sleep on the floor! :)
