You’d never know it was almost May by the weather we’ve been having. After a snowstorm last weekend, we were greeted with rain, cold, snow and hail all day SAturday, followed by sunny but cold weather on Sunday. Luckily there was lots of food to make up for the weather. Friday night was spend sipping Pimm’s cup, eating a beet salad then some donuts with sour cream and coffee from Dominion Square Tavern. I LOVE this place, great ambiance and delicious food (and drinks!). Saturday was spent eating, walking around and then some more eating. And on Sunday we celebrated my aunt’s birthday and I made her a cake! I can’t remember the last time I baked a cake. Maybe 8 years ago.
Here’s to hoping NEXT weekend will show some better weather. Itching for spring over here.
