After a month of preparing for a big move and then finalizing that by the end of the month, it’s been great to spend July just enjoying the city and surrounding area. Since our winters are long, we take advantage of the 3 months of summer.
I’ve checked out some festivals (at least the food truck sections), I’ve been swimming, camping, did lots of biking, enjoyed several impromptu picnics and BBQs and had an unhealthy amount of ice cream. My sister just got to town from Australia yesterday and her and I have a day planned of Museum and lunch date! And on Sunday, Matt and I are taking his 1983 VW Rabbit out of town to the volkswagen festival, where I will daydream about owning a Westfalia. I plan on organizing a few more picnics, some dips in a freezing water hole, and finally getting around to tanning my pale mid-section.
