The reason I had the idea to start the monthly playlists on the blog was because Kasey used to make such great mix CDs back in the day. And what really made them so good was her ability to surprise you with songs you had never heard of or that you would never think to combine in a mix.
The August mix takes all that and wraps it in a little bow. We've got many decades and many genres covered on this one and you won't be able to stop yourself from singing along. The first song in the playlist brings me back to 16 year old me, singing every word to this song in my sister's room.
