CRAFTSMAN AND WOLVES | SAN FRANCISCO

SF-cw_2After spending a week in San Francisco, I have so many photos to share. In order to avoid my favorite places being lost in a sea of images, I thought I would divide them up to highlight the … highlights of the trip, my favorite places to see and what we did that we enjoyed. Hopefully it might help others plan their visits.

We stayed in the mission district and this spot – Craftsman and wolves – was about a 15 minute walk away so we stopped in pretty early in the week. This was on both ours to do/eat lists. The place is very visually appealing – but what really attracted us was the rebel within – a soft cooked egg inside a muffin. Unfortunately after taking the first bite, we realized it had meat in it – so Matt easily polished it off while I had a smoked cheddar & hot pepper gougère. We sipped on lattes, I paparazzied  the food on the table and then we walked around Valencia street, occasionally stopping in a few shops.

The place was pretty packed when we were there on a holiday Monday so I assume that finding a table to sit on a weekend would be a similar experience – needing to be well timed, with a hawk eye.
