VINTAGE SCALE : 4$ | VINTAGE FLOUR SIFTER : 1$ | VINTAGE WOOL HAT 3$
What last week’s haul lacked in size, it made up in awesome vintage contrasting colors. I picked up the hat for 3$ before I realized it was old and made in canada of 100% virgin wool. HIGH FIVE! Then a few days later I picked up this 1950’s scale and the flour/sugar sifter for a whopping 5$. I needed a sifter and didn’t want to settle for a boring one out of necessity and the wait was worth it – this guy has quite a bit of charm. However, I definitely didn’t need a scale, my bathroom square footage barely leaves room for me, never mind a scale. But I think it will look great hanging on the wall.
Side note : the universe works in strange ways. I was contemplating purchasing an orange winter hat just last week and then this one pops up with its cute oversized pompom. Living in Montreal, you can never have too many hats.
Have you thrifted anything good this week?
