Goodies I picked up this weekend. Saturday was a beautiful warm October day and that was good news for us. Aside from the usual church sale and the flea market, we even got to visit a few garage sales. I picked up the lot above for under 20$.
I’m very pleased with the variety of items. I went shopping with a few goals in my head (find a sturdy compact backpack, a versatile dark coloured felt hat for the fall and a solid print scarf) and that helped me make good (do I really need this?) decisions. I did come home with some things I didnt particularly NEED but who can say no to a 5$ Creuset pot? It was topless (giggle) which is why it was a bargain but I don’t see that as a very big problem. After a good scrub, we used it to caramelize onions for thanksgiving dinner.
