The month of June in Quebec is pretty sweet. We have 2 long weekends in a row, first to celebrate our province then to celebrate our country. We decided to take advantage of a 3 day weekend by planning a camping trip somewhere remote and quiet, not too far from water. We left Friday – straight from work – and drove 3 hours to the réserve Faunique St-Maurice, a wildlife reserve that cuts off all cell service an hour from the campground.
We spent the next few days being pyros, getting eaten alive by mosquitos, playing macguiver to make our tent rain-proof and eating delicious food cooked on a fire. (I can’t go 3 days without making mac n cheese)
I have more photos I will share soon, these are the ones I snapped on my phone – and promptly instagrammed once we got back to civilization and cell service.
