WEEKEND MOMENTS

One Instagram photo this weekend. Isn’t that crazy? It wasn’t as if I had a bad weekend, quite the contrary. After a celebratory dinner on Thursday, I spent a day off Friday sleeping in, watching some house hunters, sipping coffee and enjoying a nice breakfast. When I finally decided to get off my butt, I did some errands, had a quick visit to the salvation army (where I left with a denim jacket, yet another Matt & Nat bag, a triangle shaped mirror (which I have yet to find a place for) and a linen/rayon vest straight off of Julia Roberts in the 90s). After a quiet evening in, Saturday was spent – yet again – rifling through people’s garbage. No I haven’t quite reached dumpster diving yet. We went to a used furniture (and etc) warehouse where I had been over a year ago. No furniture really caught my eye (though who wouldn’t be tempted to own their very own ultrasound machine or a green dentist chair?) I did however bring home a pair of Converse shoes. My first pair! To all those who call me a hipster, I was NOT. I am now though.

THEN, if that wasn’t enough second-hand shopping for one weekend, a quick visit to another salvation army proved fruitful when I found the above beige brogues for 3$! I am pretty sure there was some sort of technical difficulty in the pricing department (aka someone in back let this gem slip by) but I wasn’t about to point that out. On top of the black Zara brogues I found last Monday, it was a good week for shoe shopping!

On Sunday, I reluctantly crawled out of bed for my aerial silks class and then spent the rest of the afternoon indoors, moving furniture around for the 100th time this month. I do believe we have a winner this time! That’s all for now folks.
