Chocolate bread from Boulangerie Guillaume
I’m a day late on my weekend recap, I have barely had a free moment to write up a post. Oh the downside of being busy. This weekend was busy and productive.
- I saw Plants and Animals (the opener – Leif Vollebekk – was awesome too) at the Corona theatre, sipping wine out of a plastic cup, being all classy n stuff.
- I saw Of Monsters and Men (the opener was a little too slow for me but the main show was good and folky.)
- I ate a lot of the chocolate bread pictured above. I had dreams of making peanut butter sandwich french toast with it… BUT there just wasn’t enough time. I froze some so maybe those dreams will come true when I have a quiet weekend sometime in 2015.
- I cleaned like a %$*&^%#$#@er. I think half my closet was in (clean) piles around my apartment. I hung & folded it all up while I watched LOTR for the 127th time. Then celebrated with a beer I didn’t even end up finishing. Waking up/coming home to a clean apartment is simply amazing.
