It’s been a hectic few weeks around here lately. My days have been filled with work, travel, freelance jobs, classes, family, friends and a few other projects in between. (Not to mention a new addiction to Shameless.) All this has made blogging take a turn on the backburner. I have lots of things to talk about but haven’t had the time to sit down and sort through my brain to get them all in writing.
I am going to do my best to have May (coincidentally my birth month) to be a month with a little less on my plate. I want to be able to enjoy a walk in the – much anticipated – warm weather without that underlying feeling of guilt that I am not WORKING, or working towards working.
I want to do a big spring cleaning, purge lots of things and clothing to make my space feel more like a place to relax than an additional source of anxiety. I want to work on my balcony garden and create the perfect bourbon lemonade recipe. I want to start jogging again and hike up the mountain a few times a week. I want to make it up to Ottawa to meet one of my best friends’ baby girl who is already 10 weeks old.
And I want to get back to blogging and writing.
Well May, I have some high expectations for you this year.
