I love this outfit. The deep reds and earthy tones compliment the fall colours so well. I found this skirt a few months back and after hesitantly trying it on, fell in love. The high waist, the belt loops, the pockets and the wide flowy material made it a no-hesitation purchase at the salvation army. And it was one of those very reasonably priced items that the employee pricing it probably assumed would never sell. That’s because they didn’t know I was coming. This skirt was made in Paris and is absolutely faaa-bulous dahling.
The boots were from a garage sale we accidentally stumbled upon. I ended up taking these home along with a pair of purple Roos high-tops (remember those from the 90’s?) for 15$. These boots are now my go-to short boots for fall. And they are very comfortable, even when walking a lot.
This denim jacket has also been a staple this fall. I had been on the hunt for some time and was at the salvation army and browsing the kids jacket section – one of the perks of being short – and found this denim jacket. I can’t button it up the whole way but it’s perfect for warm fall days. The pockets are perfectly positioned and though it’s from the kid’s section, it was originally from Zara. I assume some 10 year old girl grew out of it in a few months and the parents donated it. I’m not likely to grow anymore, except sideways.
