Hello! Did you miss my face in blogging? For those who are new here, you might not know I had a personal style blog for a few years where I documented my outfits. Though I sorta grew out of taking photos of myself (and the hassle of catching daylight, awkward smiles in front of a tripod and the time it took up) I did miss some aspects of outfit posts. My favourite fashion bloggers were always those who had amazing (sometimes wacky) style and integrated lots of second hand or vintage items into their outfits. They stood out from the crowds of bloggers and (I hope) encouraged people to give thrift stores a chance. I loved showing people the gems you could find if you could get past that ICK factor people seem to associate with ‘used’ clothing and if you took the time to sort through the bad to find the diamond in the rough.
So I contacted a photographer friend and asked him if he wanted to collaborate on a project. So VOILA! This is the first Eco Style post. I hope to pop one out once a month or so. All outfits will be of second-hand/vintage/swapped/local/handmade items. I’m sure this series will change and grow as it goes. I’d love to highlight local montreal designers and the handmade community as well as second-hand and vintage.

hey you! i love this new feature! that coat is such a gem and looks like it was made for you! can’t wait to see more!!!
the coat really is one of a kind. I wasn’t sure if it was ‘too much’ but could not pass it up. Glad I kept it :) And I can’t wait to share more
This is super awesome! I love everything that you’re wearing and more importantly that you dug it out of church basement sales! You have a good eye for finding real treasures!
thank you kase, my one eye is indeed a good one. I thrift with only one open! that way it’s more sensitive to treasures. Ok… it’s late, i’m talking out of my butt
hooray! love this. missed your face.
This is so good. That coat is INSANE.
Agreed, Sears children’s section back in the day knew where it’s at baby!
